Content Creators and the Rise of Podcasts.
One thing I have noticed in recent months that I find interesting with regards to digital media is the increased amount of content creators that are starting podcasts immediately after gaining enough popularity. To me it seems as though the rage of podcasting about following the creation of podcasts like "The Joe Rogan experience" and others like "call her daddy". I find it interesting that with popularity on social media, many content creators turn to podcasts. Some notable examples would be people like Bradly martin who was popularized for gym content, but after gaining popularity working with Nelk, a 10 million subscriber plus group he started his own podcast. A second example would be George Janko. He had minimal popularity before becoming the host of Logan Paul's famous podcast, but right after surpassing the 1 million follower mark, he has created his own podcast.
I am interested in if you guys believe this is a feasible way to increase popularity in the future or will it eventually fade away due to hearing all the famous guests stories over and over on plenty of different shows?

I was interested in taking this course because to be a more focused and advanced version of the CS 100 level courses, and after the all the years and finally having a better understanding of the digital media world, I am interested in seeing how far I can take this knowledge into specific aspects of digital culture. I am particularly interested in the information regarding internet-radio and podcasting.
Really enjoyed this post! I like that you thought of podcasts instead of TikTok like a lot of us did. I think that podcasts are so successful because they give followers the opportunity to see more of their favourite creator. I'm listening to a podcast can feel almost like sitting down and chatting with your friend, you feel as if you're having a real conversation with one of your favourite creators. I think that for some creators it also shows more of their personality and what they are really like compared to short TikTok videos of them dancing or something. I've personally think that the podcast space will stick around for a while still and not say it away anytime soon. Some of the most popular podcast and I know of are advice based or story based, content that I don't think consumers will get tired of quickly.
